Parent communication

Fee reminders that go from
your own WhatsApp number.

Parents already have a WhatsApp thread with your institute. A reminder that arrives from a strange sender ID lands in that grey zone nobody reads. Drishtaa sends from the number they already know - and it sends by itself, from the fee register, so nobody has to remember.

Why the number matters more than the message

Most institute software sends through a shared marketing sender. It is cheaper for the vendor and it is why parents stop reading.

It arrives in the thread they already have

The reminder appears under the same conversation as last month's receipt and last term's result. Parents open it because they recognise it, and they can reply to it - the reply lands in your inbox, not nowhere.

Nobody has to press send

Drishtaa reads the pending-fee list and sends. Same for an absent alert the period it is marked, and a result the day it is entered. The office staff are not copying names into WhatsApp Web at 9pm.

You keep the number

It is your institute's number, connected once. If you ever leave, the number and the conversations are still yours - we are not the owner of your parent relationships.

What goes out automatically

Every one of these is a real message Drishtaa sends today, from your own number, triggered by something that happened in the records - not a broadcast you compose.

Fee reminder
Before the due date and after it, only to the parents who are actually pending. It stops the moment the fee is paid.
Receipt
The moment a payment is entered, the parent gets the receipt on their phone. No paper, no dispute about what was paid.
Absent alert
Marked absent in the first period, the parent knows in the first period - not at 8pm when it is too late to ask why.
Test result
Marks and where the student stands, the day the marks are entered.
Announcement
Holiday, timing change, parents' meeting - to one batch, one standard or the whole institute.
Admission follow-up
An enquiry that has not converted gets a follow-up instead of being forgotten in a diary.

Questions owners ask

Is this the official WhatsApp Business API?

Yes. Your number is connected through Meta's official WhatsApp Business Platform. It is not an automation tool driving WhatsApp Web, which is the kind of thing that gets a number banned.

Can I keep using the same number on my phone?

Yes. Your staff can carry on chatting normally on that number while Drishtaa sends the automatic messages on it.

Do parents need to install anything?

No. It is plain WhatsApp. There is a parent app as well, with attendance, marks and fees, but WhatsApp works for every parent from day one.

What does the messaging cost?

Meta charges per conversation and that cost is passed through at cost - we do not mark it up. The pricing page has the numbers.
